Step 2: Modify your robots.txt file

Your robots.txt file should be modified so that it points to the new sitemap location. If you do not have a robots.txt file located at http://www.example.com/robots.txt, simply paste this code into any text editor (such as notepad), save the file as robots.txt and upload it to your web root.
